I’m excited to share that I’ve rebranded my Substack (with the help of the uber-talented Rebecca at Daisy Creative) and developed a great new content plan to stay connected with you all.
Why now? With my book, Gracie Harris in Under Construction, hitting shelves in just three months, it felt like the perfect time to focus on my Substack and better define this personal space. While Instagram is a great place to connect, Substack offers me a more intimate space to share extended thoughts.
From now until September 1, all content will be free for subscribers, so you can get a feel for what to expect. In September, I’ll pivot to free and paid tiers.
Paid subscribers will get ($35/year or $6/month):
A weekly It’s Been a Week newsletter
A monthly Creative Conversations interview
Twice monthly Made My Day posts full of my top faves and saves, including book recommendations
Exclusive access to Behind the Scenes of my writing and books
First looks at book covers and events
Full archive
I’m very sensitive to clogging up your inbox, so Made My Day posts, behind-the-scenes content, and other bonus content will be available on Substack, allowing you to visit them at your leisure without being bombarded with emails. I’ll link to them in the weekly newsletter, so you’ll get a quiet reminder – but never more than one email a week.
Free subscribers get:
A monthly Creative Conversations interview via email
One of the weekly emails each month (paid subscribers get four).
The new It’s Been a Week content calendar kicks off in three days with my first Creative Conversation, with Annie McQuad, a fellow debut author and North Carolina resident.
Lastly, I want you to know that I’m so happy to have you on my list and hope you’ll stick around for the long term – as a free or paid subscriber – to follow along on my exciting journey!
Thanks a million,
Kate
